MRI Examples

MRI is a non-invasive method used to render images of the inside of an object. It is primarily used in medical imaging to demonstrate pathological or other physiological alterations of living tissues.

This video shows sagittal, axial and coronal 3D T1 weighted Magnetic Resonance scans of normal brain anatomy. They were produced on a 3 tesla MRI scanner at the GSK Clinical Imaging Centre. The colouration is mainly for aesthetic effect but does display the differences in tissue contrast.
